To Whom it may Concern:

I have had a MAJOR problem with Exede since my June-July bill rose unexpectedly over $35 per month. I called several times and spoke to several representatives at great length regarding this problem. When I called to sign up for Exede, I was not given full or honest information regarding my account. I was told that there would be no charge for equipment because I bundled with DirecTV. I was not told the price of the Voice Service would be for the entire first year. I kept calling service representatives and kept getting disconnedted. It took me hours on the phone to try to resolve this problem. I simply cannot afford the current price you want to charge me. I was finally told that a supervisor would call me within 24-48 hours, but it took approximately 5 days until a supervisor called me. I was not home and I received a message. I might add that the person who told me that a supervisor would call me was quite condescending to me on the phone!
Therefore, As of June 17, I disconnected your equipment and you may consider my account canceled. I have spoken to a lawyer and he does not believe that I should be held responsible for any further fees because the account was entered into in bad faith and there was false information given to me by your representative. Speaking of that representative (Mike Stephens of RSI), I have called him at least 6 times, left several requests for call back and have yet to hear anything from him.
Please send the appropriate boxes for return of your equipment.

You'll need to contact ViaSat (the company behind the Exede product) at one of the support options shown at below to discuss that:

You can also email one of the moderators (ViaSat employees) at exedelistens@viasat.com and they can provide some private assistance, but cancelling actually requires a phone call.

This isn't a direct support community, it's a public customer-to-customer self help forum.
