For the last two months my 10 Gs have been used in 14 or 15 days, I know that I have not used that much because I am only online for a couple of hours during the week days. I do not go online on the weekends, Only went over once and that is because of my useage, but the last two months someone must be using my internet. How can I stop this. Thank you

Does your computer do automatic updates?  If you haven't  given out your wifi password, then you are the one using your data.

Hi Marie,
Stephen raises a good point.  Are you using Windows 10?  There was an update that rolled out at the beginning of August.  Windows is, by default, set to automatically download updates, regardless of the size.

The link below will show you how to change this setting so it does not automatically download in the future.

I'd also like to take a look at your account and see if there is another cause of your data use!  Please send us your account info to, and I'll take a look!

Also, do you have any mobile device connected to your home wifi? Have you ever allowed guest access? If so did you change your password after that?

i agree with bev onto the guest access... well for my router... its a netgear n900 and i can enable a guess network for when guess come to my house :3 but i only put a different password from my wifi that imma using for my personal use... i tend to sometimes... ONLY enable it when my big sis comes over with her itty bitty daughter :3 so i keep MY original wifi password the same THEN put a completely different password the the guess network :3 so yeah :3
