Can I unbundle and keep Exede, while getting rid of Direct TV programming?

I just got satellite internet installed and everybody is happy with it, but due to changes in permission from my property owner they are unwilling to change from Dish Network to Direct TV. Exede was originally bundled with Direct TV, but because the Direct TV equipment isn't installed yet I want to cancel the installation before I am under contract with them. I want to keep Exede, though. Can I unbundle and keep one without the other???

I can't wait for somebody to answer that one.  I bet it is spelled out somewhere in the contract you signed with your landlord.   Cancel everything. Quickly.  Then later set your own account up with Exede.

Your landlord can impose "reasonable restrictions" on how you can install a dish but they cannot outright prohibit satellite TV.

I believe you can unbundle unless you're what we call a wholesale account. If you send your account information to us at we can confirm if you are wholesale or not. We do use DirecTV to sell our product but in most cases it's set up separately but a lot of times there's like a discount for bundling.
