I just recently looked into that. We were gone for like month and a 1/2, but NO. You have to be gone for like 4 months before they will do so. Who goes on vacations for that long?

Ruth, here is the link to the information on suspending your account for vacation.

http://www.exede.com/faqs/hibernation-plans/

As it shows, you can put your Exede internet on vacation mode for 2 to 6 months a year.

Yep, steve is right. Not sure why I was thinking 4. But even then, how many people can go on vacations for 2 to 6 months. It is really set up for those that have a couple of houses and switch between them.

There are many retired folks who go south for the winter, or others with second homes. With many people able to work from home, it is not that strange to be able to spend several months at a different location.

If I were a SNOWBIRD who resides up North and wish to spend my winters in the deep SOUTH then this would be great. OK - you might have to retired - I'm sure some of Exede's customers fall into this category.

Gregory that is really who it applies too, but you have to be gone for 2-6 months. Otherwise you still are fully charged, even without usage.
