No, Exede is a paperless billing company that requires an automatic method of paying your bill. You need to use a credit or debit card.

If you wish to limit the funds available on your payment method, you can purchase a reloadable prepaid debit card that has a major credit card logo, and if the card requires specific online use activation, activate it for that. Then load the card with the amount needed for you Exede bill plus any transaction fees the card might charge and, use that.

Really it's simpler just to use a credit or debit/check card. In over 10 years, I've never had a problem with Exede using my check card.

Hi Rebecca,

Our forum champion, Bev is correct. Exede is a “paperless” company thus we do not send out paper billing and require an electronic method of payment. Using a prepaid card would be the easiest form of payment you could provide and convenient for you. If you have any further questions or concerns please send us an email at
