Call into Customer Care

Call into Customer Care only to have the robot answering phone declare that you are subscribed via a third party then advice to call them - followed by being hung up on?

Has this happened to anyone here?
If so, who did you get your Exede/Viasat service thru?

I am a direct Viasat subscriber so, I don't get that but, if you subscribe through NRTC, DirecTV or Dish for examples, you need to call them.

The purpose of my question is to discover if others who are direct customers, also have received the message/disconnect.
There are some direct customers who have experienced being hung up on by the robot 'filter'.
My effort is to discover how wide spread (or not)

I am a direct subscriber to Viasat. I haven't called CS in almost two years, so I can't contribute anything to your question. If I need help, I simply email viasatlistens@viasat.com.

I originally was a “Dish” customer. Wildblue considered me to be a wholesale type customer. I remember that neither one took responsibility for anything if I had an issue. Each one pointed the finger at the other. Pretty sure Dish eventually had some separate number for internet problems. Never had Direct, and I upgraded to an individual account with Exede later.

Hi Bob,  I'm sorry this occurred.Did you have  Exede service through a Wholesaler?   We sometimes experience a clitch with the phone system as it is looking at the original customer data information. A wholesale customer would need to speak to their company directly.
