Unofficial install

I obtained my service from a local business. My wife and I live full time in an RV. The system was installed, bolted to a wooden pallet! It worked most of the time. I was told that when we move we can take it with us. From everything I read on here that seems to be quite untrue!
The installer set the system up well enough to use, but it was not reliable anytime the weather turned slightly "gloomy." The installer also tried to charge us additional money, stating that the company did pay for her mileage or materials! The company I work for uses Exede for business and our system is now setup differently and is more reliable because we have an in-house tech.
We will be moving about 2500 miles in May. One year into a contract that will no longer be worth anything!
Exede should do a better job of vetting their representatives.
What do I do now?

Bruce, send an email to the moderators at exedelistens@viasat.com. You definitely were not given an approved installation. In your email, be sure to include your account number, a contact phone number, description of your situation, and include the name of the dealer who sold you and installed your Exede system. They will help you get to the bottom of this.

Hello Bruce,
This is definitely not within our quality guidelines as far as installations are concerned. Like Steve said, please email us your information so we can look at this for you and take appropriate action.

I failed to include one little point. He is no longer in business. I have tried to contact him and he seems to have vanished. No surprise!

ah well yeah probably for good reason. None-the-less we don't want you to have to deal with the install as is. We would like to use someone else to hopefully right this wrong installation for you
