Boost or bust?

Two issues: I auto-pay $125 a month for the "best plan Exede has" (says the sales rep.) I use 30%-50% of my monthly allowance. I pay extra for the "boost modem/service" yet, I can't seem to keep my Smart TVs connected. I constantly have to reenter my WEP Keys. I can download apps faster using my cellular data at 1 bar LTE than I can on this Wi-Fi...standing next to the router...on a sunny day. I'm behind in my work and my TV shows! I have resorted to using my cellular hotspot in emergencies, like when the 5 year old wants Octonauts. My laptop is connected via Ethernet which is really the only device that functions, but I was told "boost" would work well throughout the house. I want to love you since you're the only internet I can get in the boonies. I need a solution ASAP. I don't want to pay $60 a pop to power-line every room. Please don't tell me it's the weather.

We have the same issue and have since we moved into our new house! I have called them multiple times to see what the issue may be and every single time I have spoken with someone who's only solution is "buy more data" - yea, no sorry I'm not doing that when I'm basically throwing money out the door every month with the plan I already have, I have also emailed them several times and have yet to hear anything back, but yet they can email me my bill every month without delay. I have never been more disappointed in a company's customer service than I have this company, this is why I will be taking it to the next level to find a solution.

Christi, have you tried emailing the moderators at exedelistens@viasat.com? The are corporate employees and will look into you issue. Include your account number and a phone contact.

DONT get it It is slower and if you call yo get help you will wait OVER 1 hr and CHAT and other HAVE not clue what to do...This  Exede is the Worst internet and should be FINED  for stealing OUR MONEY...

Hi Alissa,

2 answers might help us more. Are you on the Freedom plan? Also how far away is the TV from your router? (the latter can rule out if wifi range is the culprit)
