why is my bill $130.05?...I thought it would be prorated for a could weeks at old rate and prorated for a couple weeks at new rate...inn stead you prorated a couple weeks at old rate then charged a WHOLE month at new rate

Exede internet service is always billed a month in advance. If you change during a billing cycle, you will be paying the prorated increase plus the full price for the next month. No rip off, just the way the billing works, same as phone companies and may other services. Your next bill will be for the amount of your new plan, plus any lease fees and taxes, if any.

Steve is correct. I also switched plans recently. I was rightly billed for two weeks of my old plan and, two weeks plus 1 months (6 weeks total) of my new plan and, a credit for half of the bill for my old plan was applied.

Since the new plan is a bit more per month, that made my bill high for this moth but, it will be only the new plan (plus Exede Voice, lease fees, EasyCare and, applicable taxes and fees for the services I have.)
