Billing Confusion

I changed my plan early last month (October) from Evolution 20 to Freedom, which was listed as $99.99. I was charged $188.00 for October. Can you please let me know why I was charged 188.00 for a 99.99 plan?

Hello Bob, you can login with your username and password through your MyExede Customer Portal at https://mysso.exede.net. You can review your billing, data usage and your monthly invoice which should explain what your charges were for. You also have the option give us a call at 866.945.345 and we can provide you information on your invoice for further assistance. Thank you

It still doesn't make sense that I paid this bill in OCTOBER for my usage in NOVEMBER. I expect November's bill to be....Zero, since I've already payed for my November usage? Can you explain this? What am I missing here?

10/28/2015-11/27/2015  $ 99.99 (So, this is paid already, right?)

Hi Bob, ViaSat bills one month in advance. This will continue on
each bill you receive. Your first bill is always higher because we bill for the
service for that month and a month in advance. Your next bill will only reflect
1 month of charges for the Freedom plan. If you would like to discuss further,
