I discovered this on the same day so I called customer service. The conversation went basically like this. "Yall billed me twice", "i'm showing only one transaction", "my bank statement shows differently", "well your bank must be wrong". Seriously? My bank is wrong? After about 15mins and a call to a supervisor the gentleman was finally about to see the second transaction. I'm thinking all is well.... NOPE! Now he informs me that I have to call back in 24 hours because the funds are still pending. Okay... whatever.
Called the next day. Asked for the refund, customer service rep does his thing and returns with, "you should have your refund in 15 days, thanks for choosing Exede".
All is well until October 16th. Where is my refund? Nowhere that's where! So I call again (today) and ask the customer service rep again, "wheres my refund? yall are more than happy to take it but you can't issue a refund when you're in the wrong?" This excuse? The billing department has been short staffed but they can have your refund to you within 2-3 business days. WTF!!!!! I then inform the customer service rep that since we ARE SO CLOSE to the next billing cycle I'd rather cancel the refund and keep the credit on my accout as long as THEY DO NOT CHARGE ME FOR THE NEXT BILLING CYCLE. I was assured they wouldn't charge me but seriously..... I haven't been with this company for a MONTH yet and do not trust them. Something tells me I'll be watching my account very closely.
If I had it to do over again I would not have chose this company for internet, with sub par customer service like this I AM DREDDING the next 23 months of my contract. God I wish I could just cancle service.
