Microsoft has an update to Windows 8.1 which is 723.9 MB in size!  This will kill my data usage to update four computers.  Guess I will be doing some LNFZ downloading.  Still looking to see if I can purchase a CD from MS.  At least it is an "optional" update and not critical.  http://support.microsoft.com/kb/3000850

*** Edit *** If you go to the website you can download this update ONCE and then use it to update multiple computers.

You will need to be on Windows 8.1 by some certain date.

edit: Also 800 MBs aint nothing during LNFZ (WHEN IT'S WORKING RIGHT).  Around 40 mins at the most.

I've been on Windows 8.1 ever since it came out.  This is an update to existing Windows 8.1 installations.

Hey JEP, if you can send me an email to exedelistens@viasat.com, I'd be glad to get a few GB added to your account to help conserve the data you already have while doing this update.

Did my +700 MB download during last nights LFNZ.  Congestion made things a little slow at that time of night, but did the download in ~45 minutes.  Took almost as long as that to do the install. But, it's done!
