i mean... i can upgrade to viasat-2... BUT!!! viasat-2 has alotta less gbs for me... CAUSE!!! i have viasat-1 and i have the unlimited silver plan... with speeds up to 25mbps 150gbs of priority data AFTER i use my 150gbs of priority data... then... i go to the unlimited mode :D BUT!!! i ONLY did it once when i had this plan... BUT!!! ILL STILL CONTINUE TO  BE ONTO THE PLAN I JUST SAID!!! :D BUT!!! just like what jim16 said... yall have to wait patiently... i mean... my ma has been WAITING FOR AGES!!! to own her own home AND lot... WITHOUT having to worry about being kicked out or something like that... cause... she gots tired of moving all the time... she told me... that... she just want to stay put and NEVER EVER to move anymore... SOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! now mi ma and i FINALLY own this lot AND the trailer :3 well... my big sister, my ma, and i own the lot together... my ma owns the trailer though... BUT!!! BESIDES ALL OF THAT STUFF!!! MY MAS DREAM HAS COME TRUE AFTER WHAT... SO MANY FRICKING YEARS!!! @>@ AND NO!!! SHE ISNT IN HER 50S!!! SHE IS BEYOND HER 50S!!! :3 BUT!!! i WONT give her REAL age :3 CAUSE!!! imma very protective against her privacy and stuff :3 so yeah...

What plan are you on? Like others have said, upgrading to "unlimited" now isn't always the answer. Deku has a plan that offers 150GB priority. That is no longer offered. Jim and I have Freedom plans with 150GB priority and NO video resolution downgrade if we want to turn it off.

Just because it says it is an "unlimited" plan doesn't mean it is a BETTER plan.

What Veteran said. I'm on Liberty 12 and honestly, it's more unlimited than any of the unlimited plans.

Sure is. It is truly unlimited for x number of hours per day.

As someone else said on here (and Admiral Ackbar). It's a trap!!!

I am referring to the "new" "unlimited" plans. Now if you want to pay north of $150/month and get on a 50 or 100Mbps Viasat-2, I will listen to that argument.

I was one of the people who signed up for Silver Unlimited when the unlimited plans first came out.  Then I crunched the numbers and realized it would be more cost effective to simply build a server to capture and host streaming video.  Paying $60 a month for Liberty 12 and taking advantage of the unlimited late night free zone, vs paying $110 a month and having to worry about prime time congestion on Silver Unlimited has really worked out well for me.  Slow downs due to network congestion during primetime almost never happen to me, because I manage my priority data.

Not to mention you can watch HD video and not standard resolution. ala 2002.
