Submissions for ForumFAQs are now open!

Do you have a question for Viasat, big or small? Do you think lots of other people might have the same question? Here’s your chance to ask away.

We’re launching a new feature called Forum FAQs. Here’s how it works:

1.    Post your questions to this thread. It will be open until 11 am PST October 31st

2.    After the submission period closes, we’ll review the questions and pick those that we think will be helpful to the most customers.(If you need help right away, don’t post your issue here – we won’t be answering these questions in real time.)

3.     Over the next several weeks, we’ll share the selected questions on our Facebook page and give you the best answers we possibly can. Why Facebook? Because we want the answers to be available to as many people as possible. We’ll also post a link to the answers on this forum. You’ll be able to view the answers even if you don’t have a Facebook account.

4.    Once we answer all of the selected questions, we’ll re-open the submission process.

However, because this isn’t our first internet rodeo, we need to set some ground rules before we get started:

1.  We can’t answer everything. We’ll do our best to answer as many questions as possible. But no, we won’t give you our CEO’s home address or the access codes to ViaSat-2. We also can’t talk about business stuff that hasn’t yet been made public.

2.  We’re looking for questions that apply to more than one person. If you have a specific question about your service that doesn’t apply to anyone else, we won’t be able to answer it here. But start a new thread and our team will be happy to assist you.

3.  Be nice. We’re committed to answering your honest questions, even if you’re upset with us. But overly nasty comments or non-questions (“Why is Viasat so dumb?”) won’t be answered and maybe deleted.

4.  No joke questions, unless they’re really funny.

With the upcoming VS3 service, will you be offering an Easy Bake Oven version of the modem?  It would be nice to enjoy a fresh, warm brownie while browsing.  :)
