Don't understand contract

So I keep being told about this 2 year contract Exede has, but I did not sign anything, nor was I shown any contract when the tech installed the service.  I requested a copy of my signed contract, and Exede sends me one with my name typed into the signature box indicating an Esignature, which is nonsense because I did not sign it.  Has anyone had this happen to you, and what is the procedure for disputing it?  I know for a fact I've seen multiple people on the forum indicate their complete surprise at the 2 year contract AFTER having the service installed, and also several that indicated they signed nothing at installation.

Ask for evidence of non-repudiation on the eSignature; however, in some cases handing over your credit card information and then paying might be enough to suggest you should have been aware of the contract terms.

Justin, you verbally agreed to the terms of the contract when you originally agreed on the phone to order the installation of your Exede system AND providing a method of payment, be it a credit or debit card number for payment and costs. I don't understand why you keep bringing this up over and over again. If you really feel you have been wronged, you should go to a lawyer and cough up the $250 or more per hour to seek further advice and resolution.

In regards to what Christine has a mentioned, once service has been installed at your residence, you have then agreed to Exede terms of service which would include the e-signature upon the agreement of your installation. You requested a copy of your agreement and this contract was mailed at your request, if you have any further questions or concerns please give us a call at 866.945.3258. Have a good day.
