I thought this Article was pretty intriguing. I'll be interested in seeing the Changes in Plan/Speed Advertisements.

That's for the UK so, you may see changes there but, not here in the USA.

That is interesting. Of course it doesn't apply here in the States but sometimes ideas across the pond make it here too.

And while they are at it, get rid of this stupid "unlimited" moniker. Everything should be sold in terms of priority data. After priority is used, speeds will vary. Most of us in the know know that is the case, but unscrupulous marketing tactics will get people to buy into the "unlimited" trap whether it is a cell provider, satellite internet provider, or whoever.

Interesting article and it becomes a matter of perceptions actually advertisers are compelled to tell people what it is that they want or need to see rather than what is the reality when faced with competition such as fiber that means recently I've seen installations of advertised 12 megabit speeds quote Unlimited perform at 17 to 20 megabits and 50 megabit speed plans running at 70 megabits don't we all wish that we lived in those specific areas where this is offered so as with any finite resource many people do forget the people's habits and behaviors and choices affect all systems usually in an adverse manner by unconscious or greedy over-consumption and I will relate this to Global Water Supplies as in you will face the consequences of overuse when you try to turn on the tap and there's just a brown dirty unusable Trickle
