Advanced setup of WiFi Modem

Router received new software. Now I am seeing and option like the pics posted. To me that means that I can change the modem to only be a modem and not a router. Is this correct? If it is, could someone please explain to me how to set it up. I try to point it to my router and I get illegal value. I have my network working, but I want to further dumb down this router. I currently use an Ubiquiti router and a UniFi AP. I just want to get this Exede modem as stupid as possible and use it as a modem only.

Scott, I don't know if you have the manual for the new WiFi router. It can be viewed here http://www.exede.com/documents/brochures/ex-wifi-modem-user-guide.pdf?_ga=1.216405279.841819045.1462...

I appreciate it, but it doesn't go deep enough for my question. I  have all of the materials that it came with and I am trying to search all over to see if someone can really explain that option for me. Thank you though,

I do know networking, as you can see by the equipment I am using, I'm not thrilled that I have to use a WiFi modem just to get the speeds. IMO, having an extra WiFi router is another point of break in to a network. I will not use home based routers as they choke under heavy use. Ever since I have had my current setup, my network, and all of my devices work flawlessly. I work in the field and have for many and I mean many years, I only have this because I live in the country and this is all I can get. So far, it has been great to me. I have had the service for almost 4 total years. had a gap of a couple of weeks because I was fighting with tech support, but I did come back and it has been great.
