Is it possible to hook up more than 4 Ethernet cables to my Exede Wi-Fi Modem? I would rather not use Wi-Fi. If it is possible what would I need to buy?

The Exede wifi modem/router can handle up to four Ethernet connections. If you need more than that, you would need to get an additional device, either a multiport switch or a separate router.

I would like to add that I do have some things that uses Wi-Fi. I like the exede Wi-Fi modem except it does not have enough Ethernet ports I need more than 4. I would like to keep the exede modem just add more ports.

Get a hub, they're cheap.

Your home network will never be so big that you need to add more switches.

Hubs are now largely obsolete, having been replaced by network switches except in very old installations or specialized applications. As of 2011, connecting network segments by repeaters or hubs is deprecated by IEEE 802.3.[3][4][5]
