A website of our own?

This forum is fine for the purposes it is intended for, but is fairly limited in it's capabilities. Would folks be interested in a web site that is run by the user community to fill some of the needs that this forum does not satisfy?

What got me thinking about this is that there are tips and tricks to share about how to maximize the usefulness of the Freezone. But then the many threads on this forum about the mysteries of where your data disappears to and how to measure your usage seemed like another topic people are interested in. I'm sure other FAQs sort of things will start turning up as well.

I've put together a prototype of what such a web site might look like and some of the content. You can find it here. Take a look and let me know what you think. You can respond in this thread if you want the whole world to see your reply, or you can use the contact link on the website itself.

It's a good idea I never liked the fact that when moderators helped customers the solution to their problem was never posted on any of Wildblues/Exedes forums.

I always wanted to know what used up my data also, and sort of got an idea from the SRVT or whatever it's called tool that Viasat had made but now only works on mobile :( .

I do have a lot of questions still like how much data does Firefox's telemetry use I would love to help out Mozilla by participating in it but because of Viasat's data limitation I don't or how to use Glasswire and does it use a lot of resources or interfere or slow down any programs.

I like your prototype maybe have a general questions area for questions that don't belong under the 2 subsections and more solutions for Measuring Your Data Usage for people that can't afford an Asus Router or current router cannot be flashed with DD-WRT.
