A Tool For Tracking Data

I'm usually content with the amount of data I use on a month to month basis. Recently I went over my allowed data for the month and my service was slowed down. So, when my service went back to normal, hours later I checked the amount of data that was used. Let me point this out that my normal speeds went back into effect at 12:00 am. When I checked it at 8:00am, it stated that I used a total of 8.3 gigs. Now that is totally untrue because I was at work and my family was sleep. I was a little upset because it's not accurate.

To you Exede, why is it so difficult for you to create a tool that tracks the amount of data that is used on a month to month basis. I'm talking about a DETAILED report of when the data was used and how much was used. The amount that you offer on the account page is a joke. It only tells you how much was used and that is very misleading. There are so many complaints about data tracking that I thought something would have been would have been done by now. All you do is give your customers so text book answer. Do what your customers have been asking for years. It seems as though you have something to hide because nothing has been done.

Please don't tell me or your other customers to download some 3rd party app to track data usage because that will give out inaccurate numbers also. The 3rd party app will only track data the computer uses and not the other devices that are connected via wi-fi. Just because you a one of a limited options many people have to choose from, doesn't mean you have to cheat the people out of their data so they would have buy more data. The service is expensive as it is and we don't need to be ripped off by inaccurate information that is an issue on your end. So, just do what is right and implement a tool, like many others have asked over the years, so we can track our own data usage.
