"I made this for AT&T Bell Labs in the early 1990s. It is pre World
Wide Web but very forward thinking. Unfortunately, AT&T never actually
offer this to the public as things were moving too quickly when they,
and most technology leaders, realized that the Internet and the World
Wide Web will going to change everything. But it is interesting to see
what their technology folks were thinking at that time."

What plan are you on and how much priority data have you used for your current billing cycle?

Cindy...I have Exede 5-10 plan...10GB data bucket, then 128kbps throttled. I have no bones to pick with Viasat, service works fine. But forum speak suggests those on VS-1 with 150GB plans have been throttled down.
If VS works on your plan...then yes, no need to switch plan. Doing a tracert on your IP suggests a gateway past Chicago...which VS-1 does not have any Gateways in that direction, except in Canada....Winnipeg. So, off hand, I suspect you live in OH, PA, WV, or in NY, if you are on VS-1 satellite.
Maybe Winnipeg's server did not get this traffic program update...with those states, the CAF-II pilgrims would not be coming onboard.

Graphical User Interface and Internet were the drivers...bandwidth was very limited in those days, but many people in related tech industries could have suggested future uses. AT&T was not suggesting anything "new under the sun."
Win3.1 and Macintosh IIci were capable of what was presented in that vid. 14.4 kilobits per second was king the dialup world in 1991...without the speed, text-based user interface and basic html coding were the norm across the internet then. Early web pages "lit up" quickly due to html coding, and were slow to load with embeded graphics needing to be downloaded then.
Lisp machines (1981) were capable of high end graphics...but without "fast internet," they were in-house computers.

Click on those three vertical dots at top, then open up help, and click on about
Note - Viasat browser does not update like Chrome...Viasat's browser is 32bit on my 64bit OS, but Chrome is 64bit
Note II - Google is urging Chrome users to update the web browser right away to
patch a zero-day vulnerability that is being actively exploited.
In a Tuesday tweet, Google Chrome Security and Desktop Engineering
Lead Justin Schuh said users should install the latest version of the
browser—72.0.3626.121—right away.

Here's a snip of the tracert I did on your dynamic IP (which is not seen)
12 100 ms 54 ms 50 ms 0.ae1.BR3.CHI13.ALTER.NET
13 101 ms 50 ms 55 ms lag-37.ear3.Chicago2.Level3.net
It clearly indicates passing to Chicago...and this trace goes thru Kansas City...
Viasat could have rerouted one of their Gateways to Chicago, at a later time. By chance, do you live in KS, OK, TX, or AK?
