15 months after cancelling, Excede is still trying to charge me for services not provided.

I sold my home in February 2016, and notified Excede I was cancelling my services as the new place has much more reliable & faster cable service. A few months ago I discovered Excede has been charging my card all this time [without any email bills], so I had to change the card number to end the charges. I recently started getting monthly email bills again, even asking for new payment info! I have sent multiple notices to Excede, with no reply from them. What do I have to do? File a formal complaint with my state Attorney General's office for fraud? [Charging for services not rendered is fraud they tell me.]

  • not surprised, considering the previous problems I've had with Wild Blue/Excede over the years.

Excede has also charged me for service that they have not rendered after suspending my account and I no longer have a contract with them... Go figure. I spoke with George, allegedly a supervisor, reference number 35718628, who just told me that I have a month-to-month "contract" and they can charge me for service that they have not rendeted. I told him that is theft and I will be filing a complaint with their regulatory commission and the state attorney's office and contacting my bank to have the charge reversed. Finally, I will be finding a different service provider.
