Dear Exede Listens,
I recently had a tech come out and replace my modem, he checked everything to make sure it’s all working. I am on the recovery act and have been for about 3 – 4 yrs. I also recently added exede voice to my plan. I use to be able to watch you tube videos and Netflix on the nightly free service, because as you promised and I quote... Every day during the wee hours, we’re giving Exede customers a hall pass to enjoy their (((superfast Internet))) service just a little bit more. Or a whole lot more — it’s up to you. For 5 hours daily in your local time zone, you can take advantage of unlimited Internet usage to download movies, games, music, and software updates. In addition, you can upload photo galleries, blog postings and videos, and perform online backups, and a whole lot more. YOU ARE FAILING!!!
My service is extremely slow during these hours, so slow in fact that it is 0.00 Mbps to around 0.53 Mbps, about two months ago there was no lag...your tech advisors say that’s when you (FIX) things, that’s a cop out...”Unfortunately Sir, there is nothing we can do about that.” So let me get this straight you  guys work nightly on the system every night for 2 or 3 months? Nope I am not satisfied by that response...How in the world can I watch Netflix, or do whatever for 3 yrs., then all of the sudden For the last 3 months I can barely load web pages? And it’s not because of other users either. What, everyone decided to start using the free zone all at the same time in just the last 3 months, and not all along? I want this fixed period, it didn't happen before and it shouldn't be happening now. And I have never been late with a payment...(yet). Get the hint? Sincerely Unsatisfied Customer. And yes I know you will say your sorry for any inconvenience, to email you at exedelistens.com...guess what I could not send you an email because of my speed.

Wade - I am in central Virginia and my beam stalls out at midnight with all of the timed downloaders running out there.  It seems to pick up again at ~ 2:30 a.m for those rare occasions when I am up that late.  Still, I have never seen it so bad that I couldn't do email.  "Worst" case scenario for me is that pictures/videos won't load and the web page has to be refreshed.

Amber, My speeds are fine outside the free zone...anywhere from 6 to 14 Mbps...the only problem I run into is blank pages that have to be refreshed, even at 14 Mbps...yes I have reset the modem and reset the WiFi, I have done the c_prompt command dumping and refreshing the internal internet services, I have updated my router, I use IObit to scan for viruses, and to make sure my PC is running top notch, and that all my drivers are up to date...anything else I can do on my end. And I'm really frustrated with the blank web pages at normal speeds, happens way too often. Doesn't matter what browser I'm using, it still does it.Also I have connected the CAT cable directly to my computer bypassing the WiFi altogether...nothing helps. During normal hours my ping is usually in the 700's, Download speeds are between 7 and 14 Mbps, uploads are 2 to 3 Mbps. During free hours...ping's at 1230 to 1600 Mbps, download usually non existent and uploads...huh what upload?

Good morning, thank you for getting back to me regarding these issues. I pulled up your account and do see that everything is looking top notch right now, which is good and leads me to believe that the speed issue happening during your LNFZ appears to be a contained issue for those specific hours. If you experience similar issues tonight, please give us a call asap as our diagnostics systems are set up differently during this time frame to address any issues that may arise. I have responded to our emails with the appropriate number to call for assistance at that time.
