? Flashing and shutting down ? Using up my service reloading again and again?

When I started Exceed I was very happy using the cheap plan able to get my work done. My internet started shutting down going into flashing mode. I have to shut it down, reload many times . I bought the next price up. worked for a month, again started the same BS. Im up to the highest amount, only using it for FB and e mails, listening to very little music,  still having to reload time and time again everyday. I left AT&T because of bad quality but now I wish I had my AT&T back as last month was $137. dollars and Im not doing any more than I was on AT&T for $60. Just a few months left and I will be thru with my 2 year plan and lousy service.Im tired of calling for help and being told its my FB page or its because of some problem in Ohio--Im in Oklahoma ! Your going to lose what would have been a very long term customer over this cheating me by shutting it down causing me to have to use up my time reloading pages and having to re do my work often. NOT HAPPY !!

What does 'flashing and shutting down' mean? Were you running out of data?  It is hard to tell from your message what the problem is. I have an issue through the summer of losing connection. There is a tall tree (neighbors) with a lot of green leaves on it in the summer that is right next to the dish's line of sight to the satellite. That isn't Exede's fault. It is something I have to deal with and hope the new bird is in a better line of sight for me AND that I will be on the new bird.  If you keep running out of data so you have to keep increasing your plan, there is something happening at your end, most likely. You might also want to try the Liberty Plan if it is offered in your area.

 a Flashing page looks about like your avatar in a little slower motion and its the whole page.  Its fine one min and the next its on and off very fast, then go's blank white page. It does it many times a day. Ive been told so many reasons but has not helped. I get up between 3:30 -4:00 am to get my important stuff done , save photos, etc trying to cut down on what Im being charged and hardly using anything on line after 5 am. NO difference. My usage keeps going up on what Ive been doing for years at half the usage. IT isn't just when the wind is blowing or cloudy. Its everyday rain or shine. Im tired of calling and waiting on hold to get zero help. Im just waiting to change service when My time is up. I organize trips for other Vietnam vets to go back to Nam for healing and reunions. I do post a lot of photos, but do not use high def. and this month I tried doing most of it during the day. Not the computer as Ive changed computers several times.

Spinninghorse - The tree could be Exede's problem as installers are required to give a 12 month line-of-sight warranty. If you are within this warranty period, you should try to have them come out and re-position your dish.

I have been with Exede for 3 yrs (almost), and there were no issues the first 2 yrs.

That's great for you but I'm having problems and have been for almost 2 years and keep getting a run around because I live in the countryside and when they made an appointment for someone to come check my dish, he called me and canceled telling me to climb on the roof and tighten it up myself. That he would not be in the area for a few weeks .  I'm a disabled veteran . I can not climb up and tighten their dish. So Im real happy you have good service----I DON'T. I've been told its a problem with a server in Ohio, That its my Facebook , that if its not doing it while they have me on the line they cant fix it. No sweat. a few more months and I will be using a better service.

Also, check to be sure that the dish is mounted securely.  If it is blowing with the wind, you will lose service.  My installer never tightened the bolts, so I had that problem a while back. It is fixed now.  The lights on my modem blink all the time, up and down. Going up to the next level plan won't solve this issue.
